Association<\/h1>\n

Our work is committed to a democratic European civil society where a concept of justice based on human rights provides the binding rules for coexistence in society. Intercultural political education<\/strong> makes an important contribution to this.<\/p>\n

IKAB-Bildungswerk e.V. is responsible for organising and executing our educational programmes. We are a provider of intercultural political education, recognised and funded by national resources under the law of North Rhine-Westphalia.\u00a0Our educational offers are therefore primarily aimed at interested people who live or work in North Rhine-Westphalia. We are a member of the Association of German Educational Organisations (Arbeitskreis deutscher Bildungsst\u00e4tten e.V.) which is the national umbrella organisation of educational organisations for non-formal youth and adult education in Germany.<\/p>\n

Since our foundation, the systematic combination of theory and practice has been essential to our work. Since 1978 our association IKAB e.V. stands for qualitative research in an intercultural context and has been renowned in this field. With research of its own and commissioned studies it has been contributing to analysing the impact of intercultural political education work and making it visible.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
